Panasonic Plasma TVs

The Panasonic Viera line of flat screen plasma televisions start as low as 42 inches and top out a giant 65 inches. There are some differences in features, but the biggest difference tends to be in contrast and resolution. (Televisions below 42 inches are LCDs.)

Common plasma TV features

All Panasonic Viera plasma televisions have a new anti-reflective filter to reduce glare. They have worked on all of their screens to increase the angle from which they can be viewed. There is also a new mode that keeps images from remaining on the screen too long. This was designed to stop the burn-in effect found on earlier plasma television sets.

Panasonic Viera plasma televisions also provide a special ‘game mode' that allows games to broadcast at their full potential. This special mode is sure to increase enjoyment of the games.

Another addition is the Viera link which can allow you to control your devices (camera, camcorder, DVD player, Blu-ray player, etc) that can be linked by HDMI cables. In addition, Panasonic plasma televisions claim resolutions that meet high definition standards or provide high quality resolution with 600 Hz sub-field drive.

Some come in ultra thin designs. Some include internet capabilities without the addition of a personal computer hookup.
